Advent Properties, Inc. Review

So, Sadie, my dog, has requested that I let the world know just how awesome the folks at Advent Properties are. In her own words

"So, yeah, they always have dog friendly rentals listed in their window, but I'm happy where I live, so I'm not looking for a new puppy pad, but they would be my first choice to find me one when the time comes for me to move out. But, the really really cool thing about them is they always have a big fresh bowl of water out to wash down the dog treats the leave out for me... er, us. I even drink their water, even though I am usually suspicious of shared doggie water. And, and if they see me munching on a dog treat, they always come out and scratch my chin!!! Good humans, all around! Thank you for being awesome neighbors!!!"

I, Casey, also think they are super great. Aside from being nice neighbors,and friend of the canine,  I am always checking out the rental listings they post in their window, so I can pass the good places on to friends.

Walker Property Evaluation Services Review

My real estate agent recommended Skip to do my home inspection before buying my house and Skip did an amazing job.  He is Master CREIA Inspector, ASHI Certified, a certified real estate appraiser, ICC Certified Residential combination, and building inspector.

Skip was very professional, he discussed his credentials and what to expect during the home inspection process before he did the inspection.  He carries around a tablet pc to capture his report and was very methodical in his inspection. He ended up finding things that the first home inspection did not, which made me comfortable with how thorough the inspection was.  The report he generated was very informative and easy to follow.  His report color codes his findings to point out areas that are hazardous versus those that should be addressed as part of standard maintenance.

Sammy Hastings Review

Sammy has excellent product knowledge, is very customer service oriented, and has a great down-to-earth personality.  He helped us purchase a foreclosure in February 2009.  We got the home at the price we were happy with, and it took a lot shorter time than what we expected based on other people's experience.  He was even able to saved us some money we weren't expecting!  How many can say that about their experience purchasing a foreclosure?!

When we talk to him, he is never rushed; he always makes us feel like we are his only concern at that time, and he makes himself available to us.  He answers all our questions and will do the research if needed.  We ran into a problem with someone at the escrow office that was less than helpful which caused a lot of stressed.  To help me through that, he came to my work place, picked up what was needed, and drove it to the escrow office, which was very much out of his way in order to get the job done.

My young daughter, who normally shies away from adults, still talks about Sammy, so that's a great sign, and we have already recommended Sammy to several people in the past six months.

High Marks Janitorial Review

I am writing this review not because I was asked to but rather I wanted to because I am so pleased with their work.  I run a property management business in the city and decided it was time to find a new janitorial company for a couple of our commercial properties.  High Marks was one of the companies that bid for our business and based on their fair price and glowing recommendations, we moved forward with them.

 High Marks has been cleaning our properties for 2 months now and I and all my tenants have noticed a significance difference in the quality of cleanliness we are now getting.  The crew is fast, efficient, thorough, non intrusive and most importantly, pleasant.  Lloyd runs the company and has been wonderful to work with.  He is responsive, friendly and goes out of his way to help us resolve any issues even if they are not janitorial related. If you are looking for a new janitorial company, I highly recommend High Marks.  Their name is very fitting.

Mark Choey, Climb Real Estate Group Review

We met Mark when we first decided to look at buying a condo and went to a bunch of open houses, both to look at the properties and to "audition" real estate agents.  While there were some realtors who were pleasant enough, Mark took the extra time to talk to us about buildings in the area, trends in the market, etc. without ever seeming pushy or too slick.

We ended up falling in love with a unit that we found on our own, but we are first time buyers in CA (apparently being a homeowner twice over in another state isn't enough - you're still a novice home buyer when you're in CA) and knew we wanted representation.  We decided on Mark based on his record in the area and our experience with him.

Boy, are we glad.  Even though we had the unit picked out and it's a pretty new building, we definitely needed guidance from Mark about the buying process, fees, negotiating points, etc.  He was able to deliver and helped us pay much less than we were originally thinking we would.

I would highly recommend Mark!
